2up MotoCamping at Wayne National Forest

On June 9th, 2023 on a whim we loaded and headed out for a weekend camping trip. After a quick pack job we boarded Virginia(our beloved 1250gs) and headed out to Wayne National forest for some trail excursions to a top secret dispersed camp we found years ago. The weekend would be filled with surprises. Traveling section 5 of the Great Ohio Adventure Trail would find us questioning our ability and determination. Spoiler, we made it, and loved every mile. We make our way to the Burr Oak State park and explore the reservoir and some hiking trails before a cat nap and a detour would talk us into a bee-line back to camp for some rest and nourishment. Rain coming in the next days helped us make the decision to only stay 2 nights and head back the next morning. The adventure was amazing and we learned so much. We hope you maybe did as well.
