Horizons Unlimited Virginia EP:01 - 2 Birds on a Bike

What is 2 Birds on a Bike. Well it is me and my wife's future channel. In 4 years we depart on our round the world journey. Until then you will mostly see my solo adventures. 2-3 times a year you will get to see these adventures as we prepare for our dream of being homeless and living off of the bike. Some dream, right? On our maiden "2-up" voyage we head to the Horizons Unlimited Virginia Travelers Meeting. This is our second time to the event, but first time on a bike. We left early with the full intentions of following our sweet backroad 400+ mile route, but 9 hours later we had only completed half the route. So a detour ensued and we high-tailed it to Forest, VA and grabbed an AirBnB for the night. It was a beautiful day to travel and stopped in at the Kanawha Falls and met Lars, a fellow adventure traveller who also came from Ohio, But the accent didn't match. After a brief chat we stopped in at the New River Gorge and followed the Fayette Station road down into the original part of the Gorge giving us a glimpse of the area before the New Bridge was built.
