Target Ruin - Dec 22, 2025 On this adventure, we hike to Target Ruin in the Upper Butler Wash. It's one of the best short hikes with a massive payoff. Thanks to gjhikes for the in depth directions and overview. As you follow the streambed, there are a lot of informal side paths to avoid getting muddy when it's wet. If the stream is dry, it might be easier to follow it upstream. We finish the day by visiting the Butler Wash Interpretive Site, a short drive with car access and a quick walk to the overview.
