FORD 2.OL PINTO OVERHAUL | TIMING BELT, WATER PUMP, THERMOSTAT REPLACED

Welcome back all, In this weeks upload I visit Burton power to buy some much needed parts for my 2.0L pinto. They were very helpful and luckily they had everything in stock! The orange 205 block was stripped from its flakey paint and I applied some fresh gloss black engine enamel that I purchased from Lenard brooks in Harlow. Once the engine block was rocking it's new colour I timed the engine up then started to strip off the cam belt and crank oil seal cover. That whole end of the engine then got a thorough clean and then I went ahead and fitted the new oil seal front cover along with the new timing belt, tensioner, water pump & thermostat. Big steps were made in the video and I hope this video helps other people who are attempting to do these jobs on a pinto.
