I START TO STRIP DOWN THE 2.0 PINTO FOR MY MK2 ESCORT

Welcome back all, In this video I start to strip apart the 2.0 pinto I picked up at the start off this year. The engine itself has a lot of potential being a 205 block (same block as a cosworth YB). My main aim in this video was to strip down the engine but without going too deep and pulling the head off. Most of the parts I removed will be replaced & this gave me a great opportunity to inspect different parts of the engine. Stripping the engine down will also give me a better access when I come to paint the engine very soon. I do find some small metal pieces in the sump, but after investigating further I put them down to the DIY made sump & the welds disintegrating over time. Working on the engine has made me feel like we are taking more steps to get this project closer to the finishing line.
