We Backpacked for 5 Days in Tombstone and then THIS happened...

We’re in a remote wilderness known as the Patagonia of the North, on one of the most demanding trails in the world, and we're attempting our very first multi-day backpacking trip. We’re hiking for 5 days in Tombstone Territorial Park to Grizzly Lake, Divide Lake, and then Talus Lake with our dog, Ollie. Here, the weather turns without warning, the terrain doesn't forgive mistakes, and it’s up to the three of us to navigate our most challenging adventure yet. We’ll be crossing mountains and exploring this incredible alpine environment, but will we complete our planned trip or have to make a difficult decision? Will our first backpacking trip also be our last, or will we find something along the way that captures us and refuses to let go? Read about our experience here: https://schoandjo.com/tombstone-terri... Thanks for watching! We’re Elliot and Jen, high school sweethearts from Atlanta, Georgia. We hope to inspire others by sharing authentic experiences, discussing the costs and challenges of traveling now, and relating the true, unbridled joy that comes with leaving your comfort zone behind. After years of nomadic life, from cruising America’s Great Loop by boat to building a custom van, we’ve dedicated our journey to exploring every US National Park through deep-country backpacking and wilderness expeditions. The good, the bad, the ugly – and most importantly, the real and real funny. We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done,” just how we’ve done it. Thank you for following us along our journey! ________________ Note — Some of these links are affiliates. We only recommend stuff we love; they might give us a small kickback. Thank you!
