Copenhagen is often called the happiest city in the world — but is that really true? On a cold winter night in Denmark, I went out with a friend to experience the nightlife and see what the city truly feels like after dark. Snow falling, frozen streets, bright lights everywhere… and what started as a simple night out quickly turned into something I never expected. Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark, known for its blend of historic charm and modern design, high quality of life, and family-friendly atmosphere. Key attractions include the colorful waterfront at Nyhavn, the historic Tivoli Gardens, Rosenborg Castle, and the Stroget shopping street. Getting around is easy on foot, by bike, or using public transport, and the city is also a gateway to Scandinavia and easily accessible by train or ferry from other European cities.
