Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City December 1, 2025 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. serves as the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the Major Services Officer Candidate Course Joint Graduation Ceremony for Calendar Year 2025 at the Philippine Air Force Gymnasium, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on December 1, 2025. Today’s ceremony features the newest batch of commissioned officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) Major Services: the Philippine Air Force (PAF) Kahimdaliyan Class 2025, the Philippine Navy (PN) Sagmaraya Class 2025 and the Philippine Army (PA) Bumannawag Class 2025 — totaling 638 graduates who completed the one-year Officer Candidate Course. President Marcos Jr. leads the presentation of awards to the top four (4) graduating cadets from each class of the PAF, PN and PA, and hands over the diplomas to the three (3) Class Presidents. The Officer Candidate Course is a year-long, intensive training program for qualified civilians and enlisted personnel with baccalaureate degrees, preparing them to serve as commissioned Second Lieutenants and Ensigns in the AFP.
