GSÜR - Alpine Hike (advanced level!)

I went to Adelboden by car and took the cable car up to Tschentenalp. From there i took the marked path which leads to the ridge of GSÜR. Then i left the marked path behind and followed the ridge. The ridge is quite easy (~T4) until the entrence of the couloir. Then the real adventure begins. I give the couloir a difficulty T5 with some easy climbing parts UIAA II. At the end if the couloir i finally reached the ridge that leads to the summit of GSÜR. The ridge is pure fun but also very challenging and exposed. The SAC says T5 difficulty, but for my experience its more like a T6- (with scrambling parts UIAA II). After a short break on the summit i went down the same way. #mountaineering #hiking #climbing
