Comment recréer du lien entre voisins ?
📢 SUBSCRIBE IF YOU'RE NEW AND TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS 🔔 🏙️ According to the Fondation de France, nearly one in five French people say they are often or very often alone. This is the great urban paradox: one might think that the city brings people together, but the higher the density, the more loneliness sets in. By building cities primarily for functionality, we have forgotten that human connection can be an extraordinary resource. 🎙 In this new episode of Baptiste Asks Questions, I'm joined by Patrick Bernard, founder of the Republic of Hyper-Neighbors. Since 2017, this initiative, which began in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, has been rebuilding connections across 53 streets and 15,000 residents. Its goal? To transform a neighbor who says hello 5 times a day into a hyper-neighbor who says hello 50 times a day! In this episode, we discuss: • the great paradox of loneliness in the city, • the issue of conviviality, a blind spot in public policy, • the importance of reclaiming public space through large-scale events, • and the need to professionalize conviviality in everyday life. 📖 Episode chapters: 00:00: Episode introduction 00:28: The challenges of urban conviviality 06:56: "Would you rather?" 08:59: The guest's solutions 18:06: The episode's soundtrack 🔗 To learn more: • The Republic of Hyper-Neighbors - / hypervoisins • Royel Otis - Pratts & Pain - • Royel Otis - Til The Morning (Visualiser) © Credits: Design: Baptiste Roux Dit Riche and Aurélien Jouhanneau Production: Vingte Films Visual identity: Hervé Castéran aka Fresno Design (www.fresno-design.fr) Recording: Studio Module 🌐 Find me on: 🟥 YouTube: @Brdr 🟦 LinkedIn: /baptisterdr 🎧 Audio platforms: Baptiste Asks Questions 📷 Instagram: /baptisteposedesquestions 👉 If you like this content: 👍 Like the video (it helps a lot!) 💬 Comment: What do you do to reconnect with your neighbors? 🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss any future episodes! 🎬 CHECK OUT OUR OTHER VIDEOS 👇 ✔️Do our cities still have the financial resources to act? ➥ • Nos villes ont-elles encore les moyens fin... ✔️How can we reconnect city dwellers with nature? ➥ • Comment reconnecter les citadins à la natu... ✔️What if cities cared about our health? ➥ • Et si les villes se préoccupaient de notre... ✔️Is the sidewalk the great forgotten element of cities? ➥ • Le trottoir est-il le grand oublié des vil... ✔️HOW TO BUILD THE CITY IN AN ERA OF LAND SOBRIETY? ➥ • COMMENT CONSTRUIRE LA VILLE À L'HEURE DE L...
