Ne laissez pas la nostalgie et les blessures du passé vous détruire !

My brother, my sister, the Christian life is like an athletic race that requires concentration, endurance, energy, and perseverance. No disciplined and serious athlete takes the time to look back during the race, nor tries to do two things at once, for they risk losing speed. This is why the Apostle Paul says to the Philippians: “One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14-15). My brother, my sister, Jesus said, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). Therefore, the Kingdom of God is before you; Therefore, this message encourages you to focus all your energy on resolving the matters before you instead of wasting it dwelling on past hurts. So, “Do not dwell on the former things, nor consider the things of old” (Isaiah 43:18); and above all, do not let nostalgia and past hurts destroy you. Focus all your energy on the better thing that lies ahead, eternal life, and you will see the glory of God. May God bless you.
