My dear friends, from a biological standpoint, the heart is a vital organ in the human body; its failure leads to death. From a spiritual standpoint, the heart is also a vital organ. Indeed, the state of our hearts can open or close the gates of heaven to us. This is why the Bible says in Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” And to encourage us to keep our hearts pure, Jesus said in Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” This is the ultimate goal of this message: to help you keep your hearts pure; it is then that you will see the glory of God.
