On this episode of 2 Women Sailing, we are still sailing through Chesapeake Bay. In Solomons Island, MD we get some much needed dinghy time in and explore what Mill Creek has to offer. Then, Vanessa gets the sheers out and cuts Sara's hair! At Herring Bay, we experience an epic fourth of July fireworks display! Hundreds of boats come out to watch and it's an amazing experience. From there we continue north and under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. We anchor and stage to get ready to sail through the C&D Canal setting ourselves up to shoot down Delaware Bay and into the Cape May Canal. Cape May is a very fun beach town! We had no idea! We do some exploring and thoroughly enjoy ourselves in this great beach city by the sea.
