Sailing from Cape May, NJ to New York City
On this episode of 2 Women Sailing, we try our hand at another overnight sailing voyage. This time from Cape May, NJ to Sandy Hook, NY. In the process we end up tearing our mainsail. So Vanessa has to do some repair work so we can continue up the coast. Vanessa's sail repair techniques leave a lot to be desired, but we've run out of sail tape. Watch to find out what she uses instead. We also set our sights on New York City! The skyline and all of the activity on the water make for an exciting trip. We're even greeted by Lady Liberty as we drop anchor behind Ellis Island. Thanks for tuning into 2 Women Sailing! #2WomenSailing #2WS We’re Vanessa and Sara and we’re taking a journey up the east coast of the United States on our Pearson 385 sailboat, Good Stories. Join us as we sail to various ports of call, show you our DIY boat projects and teach you a little bit about sailing. You’ll enjoy the cruising life with us as we drop the hook in anchorages and tie up at marinas. Best of all, you’ll get to come aboard with Whip the Adventure Cat, our cuddly and charming russian blue.
