The weather was on my side, and it was a fantastic two days! [Hiking Trail] ・Mitomata to Chogatake This trail is particularly easy to walk, even among the Northern Alps. It's well-maintained, with small steps and lots of stairs. There aren't many steep climbs. ・Chogatake to Choyari If you want to experience the feeling of hiking the Northern Alps, be sure to extend your trip to Choyari. The beautiful ridgeline to Chogatake and the impressive view of Mount Jonen approaching are incredible! It's a very easy hike with few ups and downs. [Chogatake Hut Tent Site] No reservations required / ¥2,000 per tent Since reservations aren't required, there's bound to be a battle for a spot. Since it was a Friday, there was plenty of room. There are flat areas and slopes. [Parking] Mitamata Trailhead Parking Lot. Free / Restrooms are available at Parking Lot No. 1. *Parking Lot No. 1 was full first thing on Friday morning, so we parked in Parking Lot No. 2. By the time we descended around 8:30 AM on Saturday, Parking Lot No. 2 was also full, so we had to park on the side of the road. [Cocoheli] Cocoheli has become an essential hiking companion!
