A beginner with metabolic syndrome attempts his first traverse of the Northern Alps! Day one starts from the Mimata trailhead to Chogatake. He camps at Chogatake Hut. Day two heads to Jonen-dake, and if the weather and his physical condition permits, he'll go to Daitenjo-dake. The route involves camping at Daitenjo-dake and returning via Ichinosawa. Can a beginner with metabolic syndrome really manage a three-day, two-night traverse? This mountain trip allowed him to fully experience the natural power of the rugged Northern Alps.
