Rockland Fire Capt John "Minnow" Sammon's Retirement Ride Home 7-16-2020
It has become a tradition at Rockland Fire that at the end of your last shift firefighters drive you home in a fire truck. Yesterday was Captain John "Minnow " Sammon's last day after over 34 years of dedication, sacrifice and commitment to the Town of Rockland. Words can not express how much knowledge and experience Minnow has imparted on Rockland Firefighters over the years. Rockland Fire will never be the same now that he has retired. Min, remember to stop by anytime you want to give us your words of wisdom. Please watch this emotional video till the end. Thank you to everyone that stopped by to congratulate Minnow.
