Just A Shave: Feather AS-D2 - Feather (9) - Palmolive Cream Classic - Semogue 1800

Razor: Feather - AS-D2 Blade: Feather (9) Lather: Palmolive Cream - Classic Brush: Semogue - 1800 Boar (19 uses) Post: Barrister and Mann - Seville *General Notes / TL;DR*: Bringing back a Feather blade to go into its destined razor. And trying a generous gift from across the world, a Palmolive Cream. Razor and Blade Notes - Feather - AS-D2 ::: Feather (9 uses): Good combo. Pretty close cut on my trouble spot and great shave everywhere else. Probably not as nice as when the feather blade was younger, but good. No tugging or irritation. Soap Notes - Palmolive Cream - Classic: Scent: an old school scent to me, maybe with some of those traditional 'blue' type notes. Scent Strength: 5/10, present during shaving. Lather: I was stunned at this little mass-produced gem. The lather was very slick and luxurious and creamy. 1/2- tsp (maybe) soap lightly-wet, somewhat small, soft, boar brush 5 tsp water to build the lather (but probably should have done 6-7 to get the ratio right) = 7-8 passes of lather. Bowl - I used the XL version of this 3D-printable bowl: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:339... Brush Notes - Semogue - 1800 Boar (19 uses): This little brush may need another o-ring to help bring the bristles together. He does well, but I don't feel like I'm getting the tips, but instead the shafts. And nobody likes getting shafted. Definitely a good brush, but I do like several others more, at this stage in their development. *Shave Quality* During the Shave Feel: Cheeks: Felt blade but comfortable Neck: Felt blade but comfortable After the Shave Closeness: Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get Neck: Few hairs are showing some tip length (with most being cut flush)
