​Sky News Contributor Joe Hildebrand believes the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union’s decision to oppose the union jack on the Australian flag is the most "monumentally stupid thing a union has done”. ​“The Labor party is using Labor voters, it is using its Labor block, and then you have a union which is meant to be keeping them there, while haemorrhaging members itself, coming up with absolute bollocks stuff like this, at a moment where the working class is moving over to One Nation,’ Mr Hildelbrand told Sky News host Steve Price. ​“This is an act of absolute treachery. ​“It is disgraceful, despicable, stupid, and so unspeakably, I can’t even find the level of this idiocy required to describe how dumb this is.”
