Building a Covered Shelter - Framing our new off-grid parking space
There is still enough time to build something this year and we finally made up our mind. We are building a carport for a place to park the side by side, skid steer, and snow machines. With just a little more land to clear away, we are taking a similar approach with this building as we did with the woodshed. We dug down to gravel, set posts in the ground and lifted up some beams. While it does not sound like much everything takes a lot of time around here and we are headed back into the woods to fell some more trees in order to continue working on this build.
