I received a beautiful Harley Benton on my workbench and encountered a structural problem with the "ball" frets! I brought a Harley Benton (with an incredible black piano finish and roasted maple neck) to the workbench and it underwent a complete setup. The highlight of this analysis is the detail of the "ball" fret finish. I show in practice how this type of rounding reduces the usable area of ​​the fretboard, causing the high E string to "jump" off the neck during vibrato. In addition, I reveal an interesting detail about the CNC construction method that hides the lateral cut of the slots in the wood. We shielded the circuit, replaced the original Tesla pickups with Fleor brand models, and installed a Treble Bleed system.
