2027 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Full Change List + Metaplant Tour!

In this video I tell you all changes for the 2027 Hyundai Ioniq 5. The Ioniq 5 was released in 2022 and went through a major refresh in 2025, receiving a larger battery pack, updated technology, a couple new colors. In 2025, it was also the first model to be assembled at the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant where the Ioniq 9 is also assembled. I recently had the opportunity to tour Metaplant with Kia to see the 2027 Sportage Hybrids start rolling off the line. The Ioniq 5 is mostly a carryover for 2027 with some small updated to colors and packaging. With the first vehicles featuring the latest generation PLEOS infotainment later this year, it should make its way to the Ioniq 5 at some point in the next couple years. Pricing for 2027 should be largely similar given no major changes are occurring.
