This Soulslike Looks CHEAP… But It’s Actually Not Bad (Crimson Oath)

In this Crimson Oath gameplay, I tried a new soulslike that honestly gave me very low expectations at first… Crimson Oath is an indie action RPG with soulslike combat, focused on difficulty, timing, and learning enemy patterns. Set in a dark fantasy world full of conflict, betrayal, and religious factions, the game follows a warrior uncovering the truth behind a collapsing world. From my first impressions: the game feels very cheap visually animations and sound design are rough voice acting is… not great (you can literally hear mic issues) At first, it honestly feels like a low-budget clone trying to imitate bigger soulslike games. But then… the first boss fight actually surprised me. The combat suddenly clicks: timing feels better the fight has some tension and it becomes genuinely enjoyable So yeah, the game is still rough overall but there’s something here. If you can get past the janky presentation, you might actually have a decent experience.
