Survivors of the Marikana massacre speak
Survivors and families of those who lost their lives during the Marikana massacre will today gather to remember one of the most violent periods in democratic South Africa. 34 Lonmin workers were shot and killed by police on this day ten years ago. They were demanding improved pay and better working conditions. Malungelo Booi is in Marikana ahead of today's commemorative events in the North West mining town and speaks to two of the survivors. Tune into Newzroom Afrika, DSTV channel 405, for more details.
