Rapper Reacts to BAND-MAID - DAYS 🤔 | Not Every Song Can Be a Masterpiece...

Today I'm wrapping up my reactions to all three songs from BAND-MAID's Energetic single with DAYS. I'll be honest... Compared to the rest of BAND-MAID's catalog, this one just didn't have that special spark for me. That's not to say it was a bad song—far from it. The intro actually grabbed me right away with the stripped-down guitar and vocal before dropping into that awesome half-time groove. The tapping guitar riff was slick, MISA's bass was climbing all over the neck, and I even liked the subtle synth textures sprinkled throughout. The tom-driven groove leading into the chorus was another cool touch, and I appreciated how they brought the intro riff back later in the song, changing the feel by moving the crash accents over to the hi-hat. Those little arrangement choices are why BAND-MAID is one of my favorite bands to analyze. But... The chorus just didn't stick with me the way so many of their other songs do. It never quite found that "IT" factor that songs like Blooming, RINNE, HATE?, Daydreaming, or DOMINATION have. Maybe part of it is that this track doesn't have an official music video to elevate the experience, but as a standalone song it just didn't excite me the way I've come to expect from BAND-MAID. Of course... KANAMI's guitar solo was phenomenal. At this point, that's almost expected. Even on a song that isn't one of my favorites, the musicianship is still world-class. One thing I always promise on this channel is honesty. I'm never going to tell you every song is a 10/10 just because I love the band. When BAND-MAID completely melts my face, you'll know it. And when I think a song is simply solid but not top-tier... You'll know that too. That's what makes those face-melting moments feel earned.
