I Took That Side Trip & Discovered The Adorable Trnava!

Trnava is a thriving town of 60,000 + people just about a half hour on the train east of Bratislava. It's location and its history make it a prime side trip from Bratislava. Known as Little Rome as it was a seat of the Catholic Church and the town has a large number of various churches. This is not a vacation spot, but a day trip. There's a cute old town there and it's definitely worth a visit. We saw a lot of churches, city walls we could walk, and architecture. We ate great food and had good drink. I highly recommend it as a side trip while visiting Bratislava, Slovakia. It's only 8 Euros round trip on the train and only a half hour each way! Thank You!
