Dear servicemen, employees and veterans of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Today we celebrate the 8th anniversary of the establishment of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - a structure that has become a reliable foundation for the vital activity and combat capability of our army. I have the high honor and responsibility to head this military command body since February 29, 2024. Our institution has proven its ability to promptly, timely and reliably provide urgent front and rear needs, while simultaneously implementing strategic reforms. The successes of military logistics are the result of clear management decisions of the officers of our Command. Behind them are the uninterrupted production of spare parts and components, maintaining the serviceability and readiness for use of weapons and military equipment, the evacuation of munitions and equipment from areas of combat operations and its rapid restoration. We are confidently implementing innovations, including 3D printing technologies — additive manufacturing — to repair damaged parts directly in field and stationary conditions and scaling these solutions. Organizing modern non-lethal logistics support in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on which the individual protection of a soldier, his comfort and what he eats depend, delivering ammunition, fuel, and other material and technical means to the front line, we are steadily moving towards digitalization. Thanks to the introduction of automated supply management platforms, paper document flow is a thing of the past. This allows us to instantly respond to requests from the front. For example, the fuel circulation and quality control system, which now operates in real time. Even in conditions of martial law, our management body for the logistics support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrates commitment to Western European standards of transparency and accountability. The launch of the official website of the Command, as well as systematic cooperation with YouControl and the NGO "Open Data Association" is a clear confirmation of our openness and reliability for both civil society and international partners. An important element of the changes was the organized, constant and systematic informing of law enforcement and regulatory authorities at all stages of the procurement process and the implementation of contract terms, minimizing the risks of abuse in support services. First of all, this concerns the effectiveness of the newly created Department of Defense Procurement Control of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All these achievements of ours are not only technical or organizational solutions and mechanisms, but the result of your selfless, titanic work. You are the ones who fill the arteries of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Your work often remains non-public, but without it no military operation is possible. You have created a logistics support system that not only withstands the most difficult tests, but also continuously adapts, transforms, and modernizes, forming a unique experience that is also in demand by our allies. In particular, because NATO standards in practice have turned out to be less unified than previously thought. Thank you to each of you for your high professionalism, endurance, daily labor feat, and loyalty to the Military Oath! I wish you and your families good health, steely strength, new achievements for the sake of our army, and the speedy achievement of a just peace! Glory to Ukraine!
