Humanos vs. Animales (Parte 2)

❓ What would happen if humans competed against animals? ✅ (Part Two) Humans vs animals in impossible “Olympics”: punches, marathon, bites, senses and records that make you look ridiculous. In this video, I compare human capabilities with those of the animal kingdom in very specific tests, from striking speed—using Pavel Trusov as a reference point and the Odontomachus brunneus ant and the mantis shrimp playing in a different league—to marathon endurance, where sweat and the absence of hair surprisingly put us ahead, although still behind dogs, camels, and, above all, ostriches. Bite strength also comes into play (with crocodiles, sharks, and the megalodon as a historical contender), as does the volume of sounds (from a microscopic insect to the clicks of sperm whales), and senses like smell and hearing, where dogs, polar bears, and porpoises achieve distances and frequencies we can't even imagine. The comparison continues with rest and the extremes of survival: animals that sleep almost all day, others that go weeks without sleep, long hibernations, unexpected periods of torpor, and resistance to temperatures ranging from freezing to almost unbelievable limits. In between, details emerge that explain why a sea otter can boast such a thick coat of fur, why a zebra is a formidable threat, and how the migrations of the Arctic tern turn the planet into its athletic track. And just when it seems all hope is lost, we reach the realm where we truly excel: intelligence… though even there are surprises, such as bees capable of learning, communicating, and distinguishing artistic styles. In the end, the question isn't who wins, but which of their talents you'd like to "steal" for a day.
