How to do a Partigyle Brew: 3 Beers from One Batch

Partigyle brewing is a traditional method of making beer which gets three different beers from one batch. I gave it a go and am pleasantly surprised with the results. It's a type of brewing every brewer should try once. The result was three very different beers with three very different flavour profiles. We went for imperial IPA, best bitter and porter. Yes, porter, from a pale ale grain bill! It's also common to try different strength beers from one batch and compare side by side, so it's a great way to make a doppelbock, pilsner and light lager; imperial stout, stout and mild; barleywine, best bitter and ordinary bitter etc. Get your brew supplies here: https://kegthat.com/ Like, subscribe and comment to let us know how you got on with your partigyle! 00:00 Intro 00:12 what i a partigyle brew? 01:26 my recipe 03:10 partigyle mash 03:52 collecting runnings 04:13 partigyle boil 04:40 capping 05:24 first runnings beer tasting 07:50 second runnings beer tasting 08:43 third runnings beer tasting
