Cormorant helicopter joins a Navy exercise and practices hoisting and ship landing.

This one is a little different. I took part in a Navy exercise simulating fire aboard one of the ships. The Germans, French, Danish, and Canadian Navies all took part, as well as the Canadian Coast Guard. Not only did I get to hoist to a ship but I also landed in one. Communications at times were difficult due to the number of assets all on the same frequency. I tried to show you more of the medical triage part of it as well. There was also the German NH90 helicopter flying around. As well the timing for the exercise worked out absolutely perfectly, you'll see at the end of the video why.
