PILATES NEUTRAL LUMBAR SUPPORT- Home Workout (BACK PAIN RELIEF)
What is Pilates in Neutral? First, you must understand what Neutral is. Neutral spine is universally known as proper posture. Neutral spine is the natural position of the spine when all three curves of the spine — cervical neck, thoracic middle back, and lumbar lower back are present and in proper alignment. In this 30 minute in home Pilates workout, we will focus on performing all the exercises in a Neutral Spine. Doing this will help strengthen your core and give you the stability to maintain and reinforce these natural curves in the spine. This workout is excellent for everyone but especially someone with a herniated disc, an impinged disc, bulging disc or pinched nerve from a disk or sciatic nerve pain. The reason this workout is perfect for someone with those conditions is we do not do any Flexion of the spine (rounding the back) and minimal extension in this routine. The more you practice this full body flow, the healthier you back will get to then build up to more advanced moves. Aviva Abrams owner of AVIVA PILATES studio in Miami Design District leads this workout, and you're going to love it. She focuses on small movements that target muscles that we don't always get to that will help to improve posture, and sculpt your physique. By the end of this workout, you will be feeling more flexible, more muscular, toned and balanced from head to toe.
