President Buhari Returns after High-Level Talks In Gambia
The high-level ECOWAS mission to the Gambia has encouraged President Yahya Jammeh to reconsider his rejection of the recent presidential election results and work towards upholding the nation's constitution for lasting peace, stability and democratic order in the Gambia. This was during mediation talks convened by President Muhammadu Buhari and other sub-regional leaders in Banjul aimed at resolving the political impasse in the country.
