Federal Signal 3T22 Noon Blast (Short Alert) | Balsam Lake WI

So for the first Wednesday this July, my plan was to hit up the Star Prairie WI Equinox and the unrecorded Eclipse in Spring Valley WI. As you can tell, plans changed quickly. Before leaving for Star Prairie, I called both St. Croix county and Pierce County to ask if they were testing because I wanted to see if they would with the thunderstorms that were in the area. St. Croix said they would be but Pierce would not. So, I set out for Star Prairie as my first siren of the day. I got there, got set up, got pictures, and waited, till 11:08 AM. I called St. Croix county and asked if they were testing, and they said they weren’t due to the thunderstorms. I was pissed and left to get up to this siren in time. I got here at about 11:40 AM and started looking for a spot to set up. I settled on a spot kinda close to the siren which I thought looked pretty good. At about 11:59 AM, this siren fired up and was pretty loud. I love the sound of XT22’s and I really wish there were some more around the area. After the test, I got a few more pictures of the Erick that is on the water tower next to this siren which the 3T22 replaced a while back. Then I packed up and headed to the town of Wanderoos WI to get pictures of their mystery siren. It seems like the siren is either a Screamer or a Model 5 but I am still unsure. Pictures are up on my channel. Anyways, kind of a underwhelming first Wednesday but I’m gonna be heading to a few sirens for the first Monday. Enjoy!
