A Saturday afternoon back 1990.The Waterside Pigeon Fanciers await the return of their birds from Lancaster, 140 mls as the Pigeon flys with a flight time of just under 4 hours.Fast forward to June 2018 and Charles and Alec Whiteford tell us how their father John established his 'Dooket' at Alexander place in 1940 which was taken over by his son Andy and now looked after by Charles and Alec.
