Triumph 17 After 100 Miles

I've been running in the Triumph 17 for 100 miles (technically, 99.81), and it has been a real pleasure. The PWRRUN+ foam and the way that Saucony uses it makes this the ultraboost shoe that Adidas should have made. For me, it fits nicely in the Max Cushion category of shoe but without the typical max cushion speed penalty. That's not to say that I loved it for tempo work, but for my long runs and my recovery runs, this shoe felt comfortable yet quick. The shoe has been holding up well over time. The upper remains super plush and the midsole still retains that PWRRUN+ or Boost-like bounce. The rubber is seeing a bit of wear, but far less than I would expect for 100 miles. Even though this shoe is not winterized, all the extra cushion and memory foam-like material in the upper make it warm enough for frigid temps. I'm not sure I'd appreciate that though in the summer.
