How Things Work: Design for sustainability

Did you know that approximately 80 per cent of a product’s environmental impact is determined at the design phase? PA's experts explore how you can design for sustainability in our latest How Things Work video direct from PA's Global Innovation and Technology Centre. In the video, we explore how PA adopts a life-cycle approach in which products are not considered as stand-alone items but within the full holistic system in which they sit. This includes from where the raw materials are sourced, how the product is manufactured and distributed and ultimately how it is managed at the end of its life.
