🇭🇷 Chorwackie wakacje. Płyniemy z Ploče do Trpanj na Półwyspie Pelješac.

In today's episode, we leave Gradac to see the Pelješac Peninsula up close. The easiest way to get there is by car, passing through Pelješac, which was opened in 2022. Out of curiosity, we chose a different option: a ferry. We'll travel to Ploče, where a ferry to the small settlement of Trpanj departs. We have a moment to stroll along the Riva in Plče and see how this port town has changed since our last visit in 2021. The ferry is ready, and the few passengers on board are also ready for the cruise, which lasts about an hour. The journey is enhanced by beautiful weather and incredible views, which we admire from the upper deck of the ferry. Trpanj is picturesque right from the port, and it only got more beautiful from there. We strolled along the promenade and then along the coastal hiking trail in the nature park. We passed rocky beaches surrounded by sprawling pine trees, the roar of the sea, and the sounds of cicadas. From the cliff, we saw Blace Bay, rich in healing mud. We visited the old cemetery and a chapel on a hill. On the way back, we turned towards the Old Settlement with the Church of St. Peter and Paul, and then got lost in the narrow streets of old Trpanj. Man does not live by views alone, so we took advantage of the hospitality of Konoba Škojera and had lunch there. Then, we sunbathed on the small, atmospheric beach by the Hotel Faraon. We spent the time until the ferry departed with coffee and delicious cake at a café right by the port. The return trip to Ploče was equally pleasant. And what were your impressions of the trip? Trpanj is a charming, atmospheric place. See for yourself. I invite you to watch the video. Enjoy! W.
