With only ¥7,000 in revenue the first month and on the brink of closure, I started a blog as a last resort, but it proved to be a success. Reservations began filling up after three months, and within six months, monthly sales exceeded ¥1 million. This led to the opening of two stores in front of Yokohama Station. I added seven staff members and expanded into eyelash and nail care. I opened an e-commerce site, purchasing from Austria and Korea (500 members in six months, with no advertising, only word of mouth), and expanded my business with rental conference rooms. During this process, I received numerous inquiries from independent salon owners across the country, and I began providing customer acquisition and management consulting services specializing in independent salons. A solo salon owner, who struggled with attracting customers and sales just like me, followed my advice and transformed his salon into one that was booked up and breaking sales records. In 2016, he retired from managing his own salon to focus on consulting. He founded the Salon School® "Master Salon Management Academy." Students have come from all over Japan and even overseas, from places like Australia. -Monthly sales increased from ¥15,000 to ¥4 million. He also hired three staff members. -Achieved monthly sales of ¥2 million in a salon surrounded by rice fields with only one train per hour. -Relocated the salon four minutes from Omotesando, achieving a peak monthly sales of ¥10 million. -Opened in a 30-year-old apartment building. Monthly sales increased from ¥400,000 to ¥1 million. -A salon that had been receiving a reduction in national health insurance premiums due to being unable to pay them increased monthly sales to ¥2.9 million. In a town of 17,000 people, monthly sales increased from ¥80,000 to ¥2.5 million. From a home salon with monthly sales of ¥130,000, sales steadily increased to a store with monthly sales of ¥3.6 million.
