Elmenau (Neukirch) (D - BW) Die Glocken der Filiale St. Ulrich

This video presents the bells mi♭4 -mi4 -fa4] of St. Ulrich's chapel in Elmenau near Neukirch. ➥ The oldest bell in Elmenau dates back to 1586 and comes from a bell foundry in Ravensburg that I had never heard of before. It is signed with the name of the then master Hainrich Sternneger. Due to the appearance of this bell, bells of previously unknown origin can be attributed to this foundry in Ravensburg. These include instruments in Kißlegg (   • Kißlegg (D - BW) Die Glocken der Pfarrkirc...  ) and Siggen (   • Siggen (Argenbühl) (D - BW) Die Glocken de...  ). It is not clear whether this bell hung in St. Ulrich's after the war or whether it was parked somewhere. At least two new bells were cast in 1950. The foundry was the Junker foundry in Brilon, which produced the amazingly sonorous little bells in special "Briloner Sonderbronze". The existing bell was obviously not taken into account in the tone sequence, so that today a chromatic tone sequence is heard.
