Photographing A Popular Fishing Pier At Sunrise On A Busy Beach - Tybee Island, GA

The fishing pier on Tybee Island is a popular destination for people to enjoy watching the sunrise - and with the promise of a clearer sky after days of rain, I couldn't resist setting an alarm to be one of those early morning admirers. In this video, you'll see the challenges I faced trying to photograph a popular location with an unexpected amount of people and activity so early in the day. Especially, one particular photographer who didn't seem to care about setting up his tripod in the foreground of my compositions multiple times. This is the first of two videos I created during a family vacation on Tybee Island. In the second video, I attempt to capture the sunset on the northern side of the island but struggle with a challenge I know we have all faced as photographers at one point - especially while traveling with family and friends.... staying focused.
