Rainbird 1806 6" with rotary nozzles. CMSColorado failed to mention it has a PRS 30 check valve.

This is not what I expected. This is a pressure regulated sprinkler stem. Although the concept in having a Rainbird 1806 6" Spray Body Pop Up Sprinkler is what everyone should have, especially if you are growing tall grass, the PRS 30 creates problems if you are not ready for it. I was extremely happy thinking that I finally figured it out for my lawn as my psi is at 50. With my rotary nozzles the plan was perfect. The information on the product states the sprinkler body. This means that there should be no additional features other than the 6 inch stem and body. Extremely disappointed. At the same time, the ability to remove the PRS check valve reveals a pinhole that truly defeats this purpose of the product. All my other rainbird stems are able to remove the check valve without any problems or pinhole. If they were to send me new stems without the check valve, 5 stars easily. With the recent sprinkler zone adjustments, the water ratio still performed far better than shorter stems. Everyone should have a 6 inch stem if you are growing tall grass in my opinion. I wish I could have written this review without having to vent. I was extremely excited to get this far only to be slammed with misdirection and false advertisement. The rotary nozzles are performing at the extreme low-end of the spectrum with the PRS 30. At the same time, I'm finding many issues with Rainbird's edition of their rotary nozzles. My next adventure will be to check Hunter's rotary nozzles as they are promising a better experience, so they say, but with the PRS 30 rainbird sprinkler body, I am a bit stuck. I will need to find replacement stem if not, I need to replace the entire sprinkler. Damn..... This sucks. I am in a better position in my journey to a healthier lawn. I just wish the vendor would have been truthful in advertising the product.
