Vice President Gibran Rakabuming inspected the construction progress of the Musi V Bridge, part of the Palembang-Betung Toll Road project and the Betung-Jambi Toll Road in South Sumatra, on Thursday (July 16, 2026). This inspection is part of the government's ongoing oversight to ensure the acceleration of strategic infrastructure development in the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road corridor. Having previously inspected the Musi V Bridge project in September 2025, the Vice President reaffirmed the progress of the construction, which has now reached the connecting stage, and also checked on the progress of the Betung-Jambi section in the Bayung Lencir area to ensure that all work is progressing on schedule.
