Honourable Minister Smt.Nirmala Sitaraman visit to Kalakshetra Foundation on 23.12.2021

Smt.Nirmala Sitaraman, Hon'ble Union Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs, dedicated an Avenue at the Kalakshetra Foundation campus to the Doyen of Bharathanatyam- the legendary teacher of the artform belonging to the hereditary Nattuvanar parampara – Guru Pandanallur Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai on 23rd December 2021 at 5.30pm. He was the first teacher of Bharatanatyam at Kalakshetra foundation established in 1936 by the great visionary and inspirer of a great cultural movement Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale.
