【秋田】数ヶ月前から期待した角館でまさかの…散り果てた桜と雨の田沢湖、旅のリアル。

I had been looking forward to Kakunodate for months. However, most of the weeping cherry blossoms along the samurai district had already fallen. I gave up on my planned nighttime illuminations and early morning photography, and instead ate a Hinai chicken oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) that night to drown my sorrows. The next day, I headed to Lake Tazawa in the rain. I passed the Tatsuko statue and visited Gozaishi Shrine. After that, I continued north through Akita Prefecture.
