From Lake Towada to Oirase Gorge. Lake Towada, viewed from the Hakkato Pass observation deck, was unfortunately shrouded in clouds. Nevertheless, the tranquil lake scenery was somehow impressive. We strolled along the lakeshore towards the Statue of the Maiden, and enjoyed Towada's famous rose-grilled beef set meal for lunch. Afterward, we stayed at a hot spring inn on the shores of Lake Towada. The next day, we leisurely strolled through the lush green Oirase Gorge.
