I'll talk about how we psychiatrists perceive life and how we perceive it. ■Being alive is anxiety Anyway, I think being alive is anxiety and confusion. If we learn new things, will the world become clearer? Is there an absolute solution or worldview? That's not the case, and what humans perceive can only handle a very small part of the world. There is data that the world has, that the universe has. The human brain can only store a small portion of the data, and cannot handle it all. Even the complex mechanism that is humans in the universe, the mechanism that occurs in the brain and creates the phenomenon known as the mind, cannot be handled by our perception or brain, there is too much information. There is too much information to handle, but each time, the mind has to process the information needed at that time to a certain extent in the brain and move closer to a solution, and connect it to survival, which is the role of the mind. That is the conclusion, but it seems that this is quite difficult to understand. The vast amount of data that the universe holds, and even the data of society, which is only a small part of that, is enormous, and our brains cannot process it. Even though we cannot keep up, we can make a sketch, or rather, cut down and deform the amount of information, making it more manageable to a certain extent, and choose the optimal solution from within that. This is the function of the human brain and mind, and as we continue to choose that optimal solution, our lifespan comes and we die. When we are young, we are not good at handling information, but as we enter adolescence, our brains mature and we are able to handle more information. And as we learn, we are able to handle more. As we can handle more information, it becomes easier to choose the optimal solution in the world. We choose the optimal solution, but as we get older, we die. This is all there is to it, but we need a meaning to life, we need a heart, we want to explore who we are, and we want to recognize what kind of existence we are, so we have such desires, and if we don't use that design, it will be difficult to live, so we need to think about what kind of creation is needed, to put it simply. As for the steps of treatment, I add and subtract in my own way as I conduct various clinical treatments, examine Japanese culture, and add and subtract the latest trends in clinical psychiatry, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, and the result is what is called the clinical Masuda method. ■Masuda Method Treatment Steps I had written the Masuda Method on a whiteboard, but I erased it once. I erased what I had written on the whiteboard, but I kept it as data. It got a little dirty. So I rewrote it again and kept only the parts I use often. The basics are: ① rest and get better, ② practice mindfulness and face your studies, and once you understand yourself and your current situation, ③ move on to the goal, plan, act, and correction stages.
