This training video is produced with the idea to assist students by reminding them of the steps involved in rolling a cylinder. The material used for this cylinder is hot rolled mild steel which is 6mm thick. The rolls used are pinch rolls, the same technique shown can also be used if rolling is to be performed on pyramid rolls. The pre-set on each end was performed in a 300 ton open end press brake.
