How To Change the Front Tire on a Yamaha TW200
My front tire is starting to wear out on my Yamaha TW200 so I thought I would take this opportunity to share how it get's changed. The original front tire that comes on this bike is a Bridgestone trail wing 31, some people call it the death wing because it doesn't keep great traction off road. I first replaced the stock tire with a Shinko 244 golden boy in 5.10-18 size and I will be using that same tire this time around again. It's a decent tire that is DOT approved and ok to use on the front or rear. The old one did wear out unevenly but any knobby tire will do that when used a lot on pavement. There is a 4.60-18 size that will also work on the TW200 which will possibly give it a slightly lighter steering feel. Thanks for watching and Ride Safe! Disclaimer: work on your bike at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own actions. Always use proper safety equipment for the job. find tire stuff here: Shinko SR244 5.10-18 (My front tire installed in video) https://amzn.to/2MbKD8G (amazon affiliate link) Shinko SR244 4.60-18 (smaller front tire) https://amzn.to/2Gp9qjU (amazon affiliate link) TW200 stock front tire (Bridgestone Trail Wing TW31 130/80-18): https://amzn.to/2UvPnFr (amazon affiliate link) TW200 stock rear tire (Bridgestone Trail Wing TW34 180/80-14): https://amzn.to/2MFyuFb (amazon affiliate link) standard tube for front tire: https://amzn.to/2MppneO (amazon affiliate link) heavy duty tube for front tire: https://amzn.to/2vI5fer (amazon affiliate link) rear tire tube: https://amzn.to/2MMkeKE (amazon affiliate link) https://www.denniskirk.com/bridgeston... balancing beads kit: https://amzn.to/2B4Qqb6 (amazon affiliate link) motion pro bead pro's (aluminum) (ones I have): https://amzn.to/2MHCNQo (amazon affiliate link) motion pro bead pro's (forged steel): https://amzn.to/2B9oZNk (amazon affiliate link) Motion Pro Bead Buddy II: https://amzn.to/2KO9XMu (amazon affiliate link) Motion Pro Rim Protectors: https://amzn.to/2OySz0n (amazon affiliate link) valve core tool (shown in video): https://amzn.to/2B9jKNq (amazon affiliate link) valve stem caps with built in valve core tool: https://amzn.to/2Gs4IC1 (amazon affiliate link) tool roll (not the exact one I have but very similar) : https://amzn.to/33DBD1K (amazon affiliate link) (buying from an affiliate link will help me support the channel at no extra cost to you, thanks!)
