In this first episode, we set off from Istanbul Airport and fly to Kathmandu, the heart of Nepal. Upon arrival, we find ourselves in Thamel—a tourist hub famous for its colorful streets and the sense of peace found amidst the chaos. We engage in some serious bargaining on the streets of Thamel to acquire the trekking and mountaineering gear we were missing, finalizing our last preparations before heading into the Himalayas.
