This Famous Hymn Becomes a Grand Organ Fanfare!

In this video I play my festive fanfare on the famous hymn “Holy God, We Praise Thy Name” — known in German as “Großer Gott, wir loben dich” — on the great organ of Marienstatt Abbey Church in Germany. The beautiful basilica of Marienstatt has a very special atmosphere, and its powerful organ is perfect for festive music. For this piece, I wanted to create a bright, joyful and colorful fanfare, using the brilliant trumpet sounds of the organ to bring this famous hymn to life.
